Journeyman Electrician 

Near Green Bay and Fox Cities in Wisconsin

Job Description

You’re efficient, always thinking ahead, and like to work alongside a crew to get things done. You’re versatile enough in your electrical experience to work on residential, industrial, and commercial jobs.  You troubleshoot like a pro and always put safety first. 

Electrician Careers Journeyman Apprentice

Compensation 

  • $32-$38 per hour 

  • Profit sharing 

  • Overtime pay 

  • Yearly bonus 

Duties 

  • Install and lay out conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems feeders 

  • Install motor feeders and make standard motor connections 

  • Analyze blueprints for jobsites 

  • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures, and training 

  • Complete a job layout for projects of various sizes 

  • Lead crews of 2-5 electricians 

  • Enforce jobsite safety 

  • Provide excellent customer service 

  • Complete designs and surveys in the field 

  • Take service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues 

  • Enforce a safe jobsite and maintain compliance with all OSHA, company, and customer-specific safety requirements 

Qualifications 

  • Journeyman’s license 

  • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) 

Skills 

  • Critical thinking 

  • Project management 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Ability to read blueprints, provide direction, and delegate tasks 

  

Requirements 

  • Full-time work with 8-hour shifts 

  • Travel is required; home each night
